The owner and manager of Audiology Associates of Worcester, and also serves on the adjunct faculty of Northeastern University and Worcester State University. He was the Director of the Department of Audiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center from 2003-2012, and was a member of the Department of Audiology at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary from 1998-2002. He is known by audiologists worldwide for his expertise in advanced audiological techniques, and has given invited lectures and seminars throughout the United States and 13 foreign countries. He has authored or co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and one textbook chapter. He resides in Oxford with his family, and volunteers with Oxford Little League, Boy Scout Troop 147, and the First Congregational Church of Oxford.
Dr. Alicia Hutchison joined the AAW team in 2021 and is from Allentown, PA. She previously was an audiologist for Baylor Scott and White in Texas for over 2 years. She earned her MA and AuD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2017, and 2019. She completed her externship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and fellowship through Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related disabilities in 2018. Alicia received multiple awards for research through her graduate years and was recently named an Academy Scholar through the American Academy of Audiology for 2021. She double majored in Communication Science Disorders and Psychology to earn her Bachelor of Science through the Honors Program at Central Michigan University. She also competed as a division one athlete there.
Stephanie Rand is currently earning her Doctorate of Audiology degree at the University of Connecticut. In 2017, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences with a minor in Communication from the University of Connecticut. For the past three years she has worked as a Hearing Aid Technician Assistant for the clinical staff at the University of Connecticut Speech and Hearing Clinic. Additionally, Stephanie has worked as a research assistant for the Sign Linguistics and Language Acquisition Lab for the University. She has completed several clinical rotations in diagnostics, pediatrics, and vestibular testing during her past three years as a student and is looking forward to her year- long placement at AAW.
Ann Marie Wisialko, Practice Manager and “jack of all trades” has been with us for 16 years. She graduated from Salters School and has worked in a medical setting since then. Her warm smile will welcome you upon your arrival. Whether scheduling your appointment, verifying your insurance or answering your questions, Ann Marie is a reassuring voice for all of your needs. Her experience as a hearing aid user herself are truly appreciated by all patients of the practice.
AAW’s doors are open and all of our staff has been vaccinated. We will continue our enhanced infection control procedures and use of PPE equipment for both patients and staff.
We ask that all patients wear a mask to their appointments, and to call the office upon arrival. We will have you wait in your car until we are ready to see you. We will also be continuing our hearing aid drop off system for patients that are not comfortable being seen in person.
